Zythurvion is the master of the star Zythurvia, and the main antagonist of The Cosmic Crystals IV: Zythurvia. In ancient times, Zythurvia exploded and Zythurvion lost the crystals he used to create it. After spending eons hunting them down, he learned that the Star World was created out of the Zyther Crystals that he needed to fully restore Zythurvia. He attacked the Star World to reclaim them, as well as in response to the war between Cosmicalitaurus and Novuscurous, but was defeated by Geminon. He wanted revenge in The Cosmic Crystals IV: Zythurvia after some of his Ultraviolet Crystals were found and Geminon returned, but Mario and his friends came to Zythurvia, stopped him and turned the star-turned-black hole into a much more beautiful neutron star.
As revealed in Into the Fourth Dimension, Zythurvion is the third Second Dimensional counterpart to Bowser, following Mastar and Cosmitalitaurus.
It was revealed in The Moon World that his greed for the crystals was an evolution of a punishment he put on Cosmicalitaurus for fighting with Novuscurous, who was sealed away. However, Lanuwigi broke Zythurvion's seal with Wario and Waluigi's chi. Zythurvion is also revealed to own a lost chamber on the Moon World, which held the Ultraviolet Orb and was where the Lanu Spirit Radioton was encountered. While Radioton drained his power, he was frozen solid until the crisis was averted.
