Machinima

Super Mario 64 Machinimas (also known as SM64 Machinimas) are a sub-genre of machinima, which, as the name implies, are videos created with Super Mario 64, often telling unique stories with the game.

A popular type of SM64 Machinima is Super Mario 64 Bloopers, which are often considered more comedy-centric than most other kinds of machinima.

Super Mario 64 Bloopers are sometimes erroneously not considered Machinimas. This is due to Megaman765 and ShadowMario64, who are considered to be some of the first content creators to make Super Mario 64 Machinimas, falsely stating that Machinimas and Bloopers are different things.

The most well known machinimist is SuperMarioGlitchy4.

Machinimist List[]

Major Machinimists[]

These people started the SM64 Machinima sensation as we know it today.

  • ShadowMario64 - The founder of SM64 machinima, he was the first one to ever make an SM64 machinima.
  • Megaman765 - The creator of the SM64 Bloopers series.
  • Fleskhjerta - The second founding father of SM64 Bloopers.
  • MATTHEWGU4 - Famous for his "Super Mario 64: Sibling Rivalry" series and his Mario and Luigi videos.
  • Chancer4Ever - Considered to be one of the best machinimists, though he retired and deleted all his videos when he had around 1.5 - 2 thousand subscribers. He attempted to re-upload his videos, but only managed to upload seven videos of his first series (Super Mario: DoomsDay), two versions of his War on FireRikku, a trailer for The Real World, a few shorts called "Mario's Shenanigans", and a fight scene for SM: DoomsDay Episode 9. The channel he originally uploaded his videos on is now linked with his Google+ account, so it's now Chance McMichael.
  • MarioMario54321 - A machinimist with more fanboys than he can keep up with and hundreds of videos.
  • SuperMarioGlitchy4 - While not considered to be truly a SM64 Machinimist nowadays, his early days on YouTube proved to be incredibly influential to modern Super Mario 64 Machinima. He is famous in the SM64 community for reaching the seemingly impossible goal of over a million subscribers.
  • OnyxKing67 - Makes videos that are heavily inspired by SMG4. His channel is also fairly popular, reaching over 100,000 subscribers.. MM himself has made a collab entry for him.
  • ACDCGAMER - Famous for his "Super Mario: Dark Omen" Series.
  • MarioBro3828 - Creator of the popular green screen fights in his "Super Mario: Shining Legend" series in 2008 (reuploaded in 2010).
